George S. Morris homesteaded the Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 8 North, Range 2 West of the I.M. in Cleveland County, Oklahoma. He continued to own all of this quarter which was east of U.S. Highway 77 until 1944. This place was the home of George Morris until his wife died in 1943.
