Appellees, on a trial to the jury, recovered judgment against appellants for the amounts of monies taken from appellees by police officers of the City of El Paso in consequence of a raid made by said officers on a card game being played in Room 604 of the Hilton Hotel in the City of El Paso on March 21, 1958.
