Musgrove and Lucas were convicted in the Circuit Court of Greene County of violation of Mississippi Code of 1942, Recompiled, Section 5866-02:

"Headlighting — penalty. Any person who hunts or takes or kills any deer by headlighting or by any lighting device, shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not less than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) or be imprisoned not more than three (3) months...
