This is a suit for trespass to try title to a seventy-three acre tract of land in Hidalgo County. It originated as an action against Magnolia Petroleum Company for the recovery of royalties which it has impounded. Magnolia impleaded competing claimants to the royalties and title to the land in question, and it is agreed that Magnolia is now merely a stakeholder. After the pleadings were closed, Leo H.
