In this suit under the Louisiana Direct Action Statute, the district court dismissed for want of jurisdiction the suit against Grain Dealers Mutual Insurance Company as its policy limit ($5,000) was not sufficient to meet the $10,000 jurisdictional requirement of 28 U.S.C.A. § 1332(a) (1). As the case involved a single claim asserted against multiple defendants with the dismissal as to some leaving a suit remaining as to others, the order was interlocutory...
