Ike Moore filed suit in trespass-to-try title, seeking to recover title and possession of the West ½ of Lot 10 and the East ½ of Lot 11 in Block 337 in the City of Galveston, and Lot 22 in Block 61 of Independence Heights School Addition in Harris County.
