Between them, the City of Beaumont, which is a home-rule city, and the State of Texas have agreed to finance the removal of a span of Missouri Pacific Railroad Company's railroad from its present location in the City to another. The City is to furnish the new right of way and is to pay all other expense of the project in excess of $550,000.
