This is an appeal from a verdict and judgment wherein the minor plaintiff, Maria E. Merey (hereinafter referred to as Maria), was awarded damages in the sum of $18,500, and Imre G. Merey (hereinafter referred to as "father") was awarded damages in the sum of $4,236.16.
