This is a conviction for the possession of marihuana, with punishment assessed at eighteen years in the penitentiary.

Officers apprehended appellant driving his car, a search of which resulted in their finding marihuana cigarettes therein.

A passenger was in the car with the appellant.

Testifying as a witness, appellant denied any connection with or knowledge of the cigarettes prior to the time they were found by the officers...
