The opinion of the trial court follows:

"This is an action brought by plaintiff to restrain the city of Livonia from enforcing its zoning ordinance insofar as it applies to the industrial property owned and used by plaintiff in a manufacturing operation.

"The city of Livonia has run a zoning district boundary line across plaintiff's lot of record so as to cut off its rear or southerly portion, thereby creating of this segment a small rectangle...
