This proceeding was begun in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court of the County of Wise, upon a complaint filed by Lillian Distefano against Anthony F. Distefano. The complaint alleged that the defendant had unlawfully refused and failed to provide for the support of the complainant, his wife, and two children under the age of 18 years, "acknowledged as his own."
