No. 391.

111 S.E.2d 484 (1959)

251 N.C. 335

HENDERSON COTTON MILLS v. LOCAL UNION NO. 584, TEXTILE WORKERS UNION OF AMERICA (AFL-CIO), et al.

Supreme Court of North Carolina.

December 2, 1959.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

W. M. Nicholson, James B. Ledford, Charlotte, James J. Randleman, Elkin, and L. Glen Ledford, Charlotte, for respondents-appellants.

Perry & Kittrell, Henderson, Chas. P. Green, Louisburg, and A. W. Gholson, Jr., Henderson, for plaintiff-appellee.

MOORE, Justice.

The sole exception in the record is "to the findings of fact and conclusions of law by the court, and * * * to the judgment rendered." This is a broadside exception in that it fails to point out and designate the particular findings of fact excepted to and is inadequate to challenge the sufficiency of the evidence to support the findings of fact. Kovacs v. Brewer, 245 N.C. 630, 634, 97 S.E.2d 96
