In 1952 Walker employed Kerr to manage Walker's insurance agency at Forrest City for a term of five years. Under the contract Kerr was to receive a weekly salary and an annual bonus. At the end of the first year the parties disagreed about how the bonus should be computed. Kerr eventually filed this suit to recover $3,018.41 as his bonus, and Walker then notified Kerr that he was discharged....
