The first question is whether or not the Mexican divorce obtained by the deceased from Velda Irene Gibson was void. The deceased and the respondent Velda were married December 30, 1914, in Wisconsin. Two children, Margaret Irene Gibson and Ellen Gibson MacQuarrie, were born of this marriage. The marriage was unsuccessful and the parties separated intermittently over the years.
