This is an action of trespass on the case for negligence to recover damages for personal injuries. It was tried before a justice of the superior court sitting with a jury and resulted in a verdict for the plaintiff for $10,000. The case is before us on the defendant's exceptions to the denial of its motions for a directed verdict and a new trial and to certain portions of the charge to the jury.
