This is an appeal from a judgment wherein the defendant was found guilty of a violation of section 506, subdivision a, Vehicle Code (driving a vehicle while addicted to or under the influence of narcotics) and wherein it was found that he had previously been convicted of and had served a term in prison for attempted robbery.
