VIOSCA, Justice.

The defendant, William E. Bairley, was tried and convicted in the City Court of Lake Charles, Louisiana of the offense of reckless driving in violation of a municipal ordinance and sentenced by the court to serve five days in jail. Defendant moved for, and was granted an appeal to the Fourteenth Judicial District Court. After a de novo trial in that court, the defendant, on March 31, 1958, was again found guilty.
