Appellant, James V. Culberson, filed this suit on a promissory note dated December 4, 1956, for $841, payable to his order in three monthly installments, executed by Greer, Hawkins & Aguillard, Inc. by S. Wendell Hawkins, President, and endorsed by S. Wendell Hawkins. Hawkins pleaded that he was an accommodation endorser; that the note was without consideration as to him, and that he endorsed the same solely to enable appellant to borrow money...
