This case arose from two separate and distinct automobile collisions. Parties will be referred to as in the Trial Court. Plaintiff Haddox, accompanied by his family, was on his way to Dallas from Mexia on Highway 75. It was a Sunday afternoon in October 1957, about 6 o'clock.
