The plaintiffs Philippa von Thun-Hohenstein and Maria von Bredow are citizens and residents of Germany. The plaintiff Herbert von Bredow is a citizen of Germany who came from Germany to the United States in 1953. They bring this action to recover cash and securities which the Alien Property Custodian has vested, or to recover the value of the cash and securities so vested.
