PONDER, Justice.

The defendant was charged in a bill of information with the failure to support his minor child in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:74. In response to a request for a bill of particulars, the State furnished the name of the child, Lenora Marie Braxton, the date of her birth, the name of her mother, who was never married, and a birth certificate allegedly signed by the defendant as father of the child. Counsel for the defendant moved to quash the bill of information...
