Eugene Harlow Dickerson was convicted by a jury on a charge of operating an automobile while under the influence of intoxicants, second offense, in violation of an ordinance of the town of Christiansburg. The jury imposed a fine of one hundred dollars and confinement for one month in jail, with a recommendation that the "jail sentence be suspended."
