Plaintiff brought this action to recover from defendant a real estate broker's commission. The action was originally tried in the Municipal Court of the Los Angeles Judicial District and plaintiff there recovered judgment for the full amount of the commission sought ($2,462.50) plus attorneys' fees in the amount of $500 and costs.
