On December 2, 1947 Larchmont Homes, Inc., appellant, filed an action against Annandale Water Co. Inc., appellee, in which it was alleged that $30,300 was due it under a written contract, dated November 15, 1947, between "Columbia Pines, Inc., and/or Sidney Wineberg [Weinberg] and his associates" and James A.
