This matter came on for hearing on defendant's motion to vacate sentence pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2255.

On June 9, 1955, the petitioner was found guilty of robbery after a two-day trial and on June 24, 1955, he was sentenced to a term of three to nine years.
