Henry Kline and Bernard Pearl were partners operating under the name of Kline and Pearl. They owned and operated a plantation known as Onward Plantation and two buildings in Vicksburg. Henry Kline operated Kline's Anguilla Store. Kline had other businesses in which Pearl had no interest.
