GLADNEY, Judge.

The plaintiff, a police officer of Natchitoches, Louisiana, was attacked and injured by a deer and as a result thereof, sues the defendants for negligently permitting the animal to escape from their custody. The issue so presented was tried before a jury which rendered a verdict in favor of defendants. Plaintiff has appealed.
