FULD, J.

Ralph Croshier had for many years been a Forest Ranger for the State Conservation Department. As such, he was engaged in the fighting and suppression of fires, frequently in thickly wooded, rough and hilly terrain, and, on occasion, for long periods of time. In October of 1953, when he was 57 years old, he had a mild cardiac insufficiency and then, several months later, suffered a myocardial infarction...
