The gist of the statements of appellee as a basis for the recovery of damages because of the asserted negligence of appellant is as follows: Appellant is and has been for several years the owner and operator of a sale barn near Nebraska City where public sales of livestock and merchandise have been conducted. Livestock is placed in pens in the barn which the public is permitted to pass and is invited to inspect prior to when it is offered for sale...
