He was survived by two brothers, Frank Blaum and Louis Blaum; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Blaum Frantz and Mrs. Caroline Blaum Schiefenhovel; a nephew and a niece, George T. Foerster and Mrs. Catherine Foerster Keneker, children of a deceased sister, Mrs. Clara Blaum Foerster; four nephews and a niece, Valentine A. Blaum, August J. Blaum, Jr., Alvin G. Blaum, Harold S. Blaum...
