Brown & Cassidy Warehouse, Inc., instituted this action in quanti minoris against Herbert J. Sills, Sr., a rice farmer, for the sum of $6,391.51, as the result of the purchase of 900.03 barrels of certified Zenith seed rice at $13 per barrel, or a total price of $11,700, made on or about February 25, 1954. At the time of the sale, the rice in question was stored in Watson's Warehouse, at Iowa, Louisiana, and plaintiff did not order it delivered...
