These are actions of trespass on the case brought pursuant to the provisions of general laws 1938, chapter 477, as amended, now G.L. 1956, chap. 10-7, for the wrongful deaths of John W. Shine, Jr. and William J. Walsh. The cases were tried together before a superior court justice sitting with a jury and resulted in a verdict for the defendant in each case.
