On March 27, 1958 Marjorie Strandquist filed in the Circuit Court of Winnebago County her complaint for separate maintenance. The defendant filed his answer thereto and also a counterclaim for divorce. Subsequently plaintiff, by leave of court, amended her complaint and prayed for a divorce and later filed an additional count for separate maintenance.
