Plaintiff received serious personal injuries when he was struck by an automobile at the intersection of U. S. Highway 24 and Brookside Avenue in Jackson County, Missouri, shortly after he had alighted from one of defendant's buses. In this action to recover damages for said injuries the jury awarded plaintiff the sum of $25,000. Defendant has appealed from the ensuing judgment.
