The jury found appellant guilty of murder in the second degree under two indictments charging him with the first degree murder of Wilbur McReynolds, hereinafter referred to as "the General," and his wife, Faye McReynolds. The court sentenced him to life imprisonment on each of the convictions, the sentences to run consecutively, and the appellant has entered a separate notice of appeal from each conviction and sentence.
