The appellant, Frank James, upon a charge of robbery in the first degree and allegations of prior felony convictions has been found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment. In almost incomprehensible hortatory jargon the substance of the charge was that on July 13, 1957, the defendant "with force and arms" made an assault upon Rose Salensky and Rose "in fear of an immediate injury to her person, then and there feloniously did put," the defendant...
