This is a personal injury action in which a jury found for the plaintiff and assessed his damages at $1,500. Plaintiff's motion for "a new trial on the measure of damages" was overruled and he has appealed.

The accident happened during the nighttime on December 2, 1956, while plaintiff was delivering newspapers, a part-time employment in which he engaged to supplement his income as a mail carrier for the United States Post Office...
