ANGSTMAN, Justice.

Defendant has appealed from a judgment in favor of plaintiff based upon the verdict of a jury. The complaint contains two causes of action. The jury awarded $2,956 on the first cause of action and $73.96 on the second.

In the first cause of action plaintiff seeks recovery for work, labor, and services performed pursuant to an agreement with the defendant, and in which it is alleged that defendant "has become indebted to the plaintiff" in...
