In an information filed by the district attorney of Los Angeles County, defendants were accused of the crime of assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury, in violation of Penal Code, section 245. Appellant entered a plea of not guilty and when the cause was called for trial a jury trial was duly waived. Appellant was adjudged guilty of the crime charged against him. His motion for a new trial was denied. Proceedings were suspended...
