These two actions of trespass on the case for negligence are before this court on the exception of each plaintiff to a ruling by a justice of the superior court in which he sustained the defendant's demurrer to the second amended declaration in each case.
In each case the plaintiff is seeking to recover for injuries which he alleges he suffered on March 13, 1951 while riding in an elevator in a building in the city of Pawtucket owned by the defendant...
