On November 25, 1955, the plaintiff, Mrs. Cornelia McCann, was a guest in her daughter's 1953 Chevrolet convertible and was injured when the automobile was involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer driven by Luke Wilson in the business of his employer, Mr. L. V. Burns. In this action against Burns and Wilson to recover damages for her negligently inflicted injuries a jury by a ten to two vote returned a verdict in favor of the defendants...
