Appellant sued appellee to recover on a promissory note and to foreclose a chattel mortgage lien securing its payment.

In his trial petition appellant alleged that the note and chattel mortgage were executed by appellee under her maiden name of Dorothy Land; that at the time she was married to A. C. Yarbrough but was permanently separated and lived apart from him, and that appellee represented to him that the land upon which the personal property...
