On July 3, 1957, we granted Mahaley's petition that a writ of error issue to review the judgment and proceedings of the Limestone County Court arising out of his arrest and conviction on a charge of driving while intoxicated, resulting in a plea of guilty, upon which the court assessed a fine of $100, and sentenced the defendant to three months' hard labor.
