Plaintiff instituted this action on an open account to recover the balance due on a tractor allegedly sold and delivered by him to the defendant February 3, 1953. The purchase price was $500, subject to a credit of $100 as of January 18, 1954. Defendant denied making the purchase or having ever bought a tractor from plaintiff.
