Onis L. Loyd and Paul V. Splawn sued Rumbaugh Trucking Company for alleged injuries growing out of an automobile-truck collision occurring on the highway in Ector County, Texas. Splawn was driving the vehicle that collided with the truck, and Loyd was riding in the right front seat. The defendant's tractor-trailer was stopped on the main traveled portion of the highway, heading in the same direction as plaintiffs were proceeding, and plaintiffs...
