The Court of Appeals in this action decided that the plaintiffs, Madden, Liddy, Polachek, Sohnen and Friedman, "unjustly expelled by action of the union membership, may recover from Local 88 whatever damages they may have sustained" and that the plaintiff Dipietrantonio, though not entitled to damages from the local, "wronged, not by any act of the membership, but by Atkins personally,"...
