The evidence for the State tends to show that around 12:30 A.M. May 4, 1955, John M. Fuller picked up a hitchhiker, named Mahlon Felkins, in downtown Birmingham, who rode with him to a point near Fuller's home; that when Felkins opened the door to get out Fuller was struck by someone from behind; that he was dragged...
