This action was styled "Ex parte, Melinda Kay McLeroy" and was filed by Mrs. M. H. Bryce, the paternal aunt of the said Melinda McLeroy, wherein Mrs. Bryce sought to have Melinda declared a dependent and neglected child under the authority of Article 2330, Vernon's Annotated Texas Statutes.
