The plaintiffs Scully and Blanchard brought this action, claiming that they were elected first selectman and selectman, respectively, of the town of Westport at the election held on November 5, 1957. The defendants Baldwin and Roberts were respectively declared elected to those offices, duly qualified and are engaged in the performance of the duties thereof.
