Appellant was convicted of grand theft under the provision of subdivision 1 of section 487 of the Penal Code "... that where the money, labor, real or personal property is taken by a servant, agent or employee from his principal or employer and aggregates two hundred dollars ($200) or more in any 12 consecutive month period, then the same shall constitute grand theft." His motions to reduce the crime from grand theft to petty theft and for a new trial...
